How To Edit Your WordPress HTML Code That You Can’t See  or edit any HTML WYSIWYG (What you see is what your get) code from program editor like WordPress , FrontPage, Dreamweaver, NVU etc  The idea being you are not a guru out you want to just make a change nd you have to do  it in HTML.

Is This You?

1. Sometimes you make a small change to your website page and boom a large portion of the page gets distorted. Yes you know what you see is not broken but the code is obviously broken.

2. You want to add in Audioacrobat or Aweber code to your website but you are scared or petrified of the internet technology and screwing up your website.  

3. You are one of the many people who want to work on the web but don’t necessarily need to become HTML gurus. You have either inherited a template developed website, a WordPress website or had someone develop a website for you but you feel you have progressed to where you want to make some of these HTML codes.

Well if you want some independence from your Website Developer to make the simple changes to your website, listed below is the way to go.

You always backup your page or the code. Cut and paste it somewhere.

Concept

Look for what the good code looks like in say audioacrobat place. Go into the place where you will get the code from. Eyeball the beginning and end of the code before you transfer it or cut and paste it from your source place.

Identifying Where To Paste the Code / Identifying The Bad Code

1. Start By Editing Your Page in WordPress

• Select edit the page in WordPress. Eyeball the end of good words and beginning of good words on page.
  
• Then type in a string of characters that you will recognize. Example
  • type in UPPERCASE (GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG)  at the end of where the words are good. 
• Then go below this to where the words on the page start as good and
  • type in UPPERCASE (BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB) 
• The idea is surround the bad stuff with the series of Gs and Bs that you recognize.
  

2. Now go look at the Source HTML and Open browser to full editor window and you will see all the gobblegook code which makes no sense but.

3. Look for GGGG or use browser "find command" to search and find the (GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG).

4. Then eyeball code below and look down for the (BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB) 

5. Observe the code between the series of Gs and Bs and 100 percent of the time the stuff in between is the code you can’t see on the outside or  junk code or bad audioacrobat code.

6.  Highlight the code, (the bad code ) hit Delete button and Remove the bad code.

7. Now Paste in your code or just save the page if the purpose is to remove junk code.

Congratulations – You are done.

Now remember you already know what the good Audioacrobat or Aweber code looks like. So anything that even slightly looks like junk you just delete especially if it has any thing slightly close to audioacrobat code.
