Article Writing Strategy2

Development of Articles requires a strategy. it is not just sit down and write and then traffic appears at your website. There is a methodology that makes article writing successful for some and not so successful for others. You want to be on the successful side.

Your general approach to article marketing is to

  1. Think
  2. Write
  3. Promote

Then

  • find a target market
  • find a problem
  • ensure your target market is willing to pay for a solution
  • write to their need
  • make sure you have a strong call to action.

Here are a few article writing strategies to get you started.

Step 1. A good way to do is write the tips first. People like Top 10 or Top 5 things to do. So start writing.

Step 2. Now read and develop your Opening paragraph. Minimum 3 – 4 sentences

Step 3. Read through it all and now develop your Concluding statement.

Summarize the concepts, make a definite statement. Provide a leading next step. This statement would lead right in to the Resource Box.

To start, keep your articles small and focused. Stick to  around 500 words. If it get’s tough then do a blog post and stay in the 200 word range. Then work yourself up to larger articles.
